Documents / Items to Carry on JEE Advanced 2022 Exam Day
Candidates must bring the following items to their respective JEE Advanced 2022 exam centres:
- Candidates MUST carry a printed copy of the downloaded admit card
- valid original photo identity card (PAN card, Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving Licence etc)
- Ball Point pen, Pencils and Erasers
- Candidates are strongly advised to bring drinking water in a transparent bottle.
- Simple analogue watch

List to Items Prohibited in Exam Hall on JEE Advanced 2022 Exam Day
The candidates will find out the list of all those things, which can get them disqualified from taking the exam if found in their possession, from the pointers provided below
- Any electronic gadgets (calculators, earphones, cellular devices, health bands etc)
- Log table
- Any other piece of paper other than the ones mentioned above
- Handbags or wallets
- Full sleeved clothes or clothes having big buttons
- Any jewellery items
- Candidates are also suggested (not required, But Recomended) to wear open footwear such as chappals and sandals

JEE Advanced 2022: Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates taking the JEE Advanced 2022 must be aware of the following:
- Reach the exam centre one hour before the reporting time
- Examination centres shall remain open from 07:00 IST.
- Make sure you pay full attention to the instructions relayed by the invigilators
- You will be given enough time to go through the instructions so make sure you read them carefully
- Read all the questions carefully on the question paper.
- The candidates have to appear in both paper 1 and paper 2 of the JEE advanced exam.
- Candidates are required to be present in the examination hall for the entire duration of each paper.
- They CANNOT leave the examination hall before 12:00 IST for Paper 1 and before 17:30 IST for Paper 2
- It is mandatory to wear a face mask provided by the exam centre.
- The candidates are allowed to carry a personal hand sanitiser and transparent water bottle.
- Candidates are required to submit a copy of the JEE Advanced admit card to the exam invigilator.
